was founded in 2003 by
Prof. Piotr Jaśkowski
(1957
- 2011).
From the very beginning, the goal of the Department was to conduct cutting-edge research in the domain of cognitive psychology and cognitive neurosciences. Research conducted in the Department focuses on the mechanisms underlying visual perception, attention and consciousness. Other projects are
carried out in the domain of the Psychology and Neuropsychology of music.
